Don't Drop The Ball

I get really annoyed at some of the pass around stuff on social media. Some of pass arounds have some really on point messages alerting people that there are people in your family and friends circles that have a physical or emotional issue they are dealing with and not to be afraid to reach out them. I don’t get chaffed at spreading something nice like that, it’s a great message but I get upset because passing a message like that is like big beach ball being tossed around at a rock concert. No one knows who started it and at the end of the day the ball gets dropped. The people who are in need of being reached out to are completely ignored and then life goes on as usual until the next heart felt message gets passed around.

I find it almost cutting at times to be forwarded a message from someone I think is being loving and reaching out to me sending me encouragement only to find that annoying line at the end asking to copy and paste on your timeline to others. Strict instructions not to share it but copy and paste it. Here I thought this person was being sincere and then I find out it was a pass around. There is nothing wrong with sending out heartfelt messages encouraging those struggling with something but I find it touches and means something a hundred times more if comes straight from the heart and personalized from and to. Sign your name or share something you pull from the internet and make it personal directing at someone who needs support or encouragement.
