Thankful Observation

The beginning of the Holiday Season will officially kick off 12.24.2016 here in the US. There are other countries that look at how we over indulge and over celebrate and perhaps this time raise a brow and wonder if a country so divided and whining about everything is at all thankful or grateful. There are even some in the US that wonder about that.

We are a country that has more than plenty yet oddly enough people right in our backyards can't afford to put together such a celebration meal and many more that don't have anywhere to go or are suffering a loss or bad news and perhaps that last thing on their mind is to argue over pumpkin or apple pie. There might even countries who have a bounty of everything but still don't understand why we take just one day our of the year to be thankful or kind.

You don't have to have a table of over indulgence or be in a large crowd whether it be family or friends or both to be grateful or thankful for what you do have. If it weren't for the fluff and flutter from retail and news, now social media, the last Thursday of November would be just another day to be thankful for what you do have rather than what you don't.
