Nothing Magical
She said goodbye to the one she loved
And settled for the one that loved her
She packed away once again all the memories
The ones that hid behind all the ones that made her stir
She wiped her eyes filled with tears
As she tried to find balance in the storm
There were words hurled and then it went dark
And everyone’s feelings got bruised and torn
She knew Mr. second was easier
No submissions no roller coaster rides
There were lots of deep meaningful conversations
But no butterflies or magic inside
She placed her heart in a box
And forced a smile on her face
She reached for her phone answering
A call from the one who is trying to take his place
