When you know something or someone isn't working out quite like your mind's eye had envisioned but you hide behind the situation or person anyways thinking that if you did this or tried that, that that would somehow turn things in your direction. Why do we do that, why do we go after the things, the people we know deep down don't bring us any real satisfaction?
We put so much energy into trying to prove ourselves to certain people and at the end of the day they are still are stuck in their own counter productive ways. Some people are so scared of reaching out and opening up because of a past hurt, they spend their time spinning negative webs we get caught in them then blame ourselves. By the time they are done with us we end up being like them, all ugly inside and unable to trust and be human.
Some people and situations are bridges and band aids, to cover open wounds and gap large holes to get to the other side. Sometimes we know that going in that whether it be a person or situation that they or it will be temporary. There is usually some kind of hard knocks lesson to be gleaned from a band aid or bridge. Why do we get angry at them and then ourselves we know deep down they were,(i'm talking people now), temporary? They were combative, resistant, negative and nowhere near our energy level yet we feel the need to cling to them and try to make something out of nothing.
Instead of crying in some over priced cocktail or ingesting large amounts of sugar to find comfort or worse become like them, shouldn't we exhale and celebrate that they are no longer frustrating the piss out of us? Seriously..... I'm done
