Wolves and Sheep
I’ve noticed there are some people
Not so willing to see things as they are
So afraid to accept responsibility for things they’ve done
Their defense reactions become offensive
They hold things over our heads
Making us fearful to speak the truth
Not to snap into judgement mode
But be leery of wolves dressed like sheep
I’ve noticed how we can no longer
Call those out on the carpet who practice
Snuffing out life or practicing deceit
Way too many times we had to stop what we were doing
So we could watch death unfold before our eyes
Then get slapped on the hand because we felt angry and hurt
And wanted answers, wanted something to fill the void
So, here we are again but we can’t call it what it is
Because it would offend the culprits
