The Love of Writing and free Read
Today I posted something on FaceBook that I thought I would get a better response on than I did. It wasn't the usual pass around of stuff pulled from the internet or brag about an accomplishment for self or a loved one. It wasn't asking people for money for over priced products for sale , I had in the past announced published books that I thought family and friends would help me out and purchase; some did and some just clicked like and most simply read it and moved on.
I just finished writing a short story that I am happy about and unlike my two published books that did have a price tag and I did hope to grab a profit from this one I decided not to get published. Too much money and stress involved and I didn't want to set myself up again. Real To Me is kind of a part 2 to my first book Twisting in the Wind but this one is so much better. My decision not to publish and write and share was due to that I love writing and it comes naturally and I know there are people out there that like to read. It was also a thank you of sorts to those that did bother to buy and read either of my books.
I couldn't because I don't have the know how to properly format the file to post either on here or on Face Book so anyone that wanted to could just click and download or copy it to the pc, tablet or phone. I did in big bold letters announce that it was Free. I thought I would grab more people with something Free. There was a catch though, because I couldn't properly format it I informed everyone that they would have to email me and I would send them a copy. So far no one has taken me up on my Free offer. Yeah I know, people passing up free, LOL. I should have included a bottle of wine or a Gloch. Unfortunately the ones that probably would have jumped at a free read are under 18. My story is R rated.
I am disappointed in the faint response but I am not going to let that derail my happiness. So here is the deal, if you are a follower or you follow someone that follows me, some how connected through my blog or Google+ then email me thunder25256687@gmail.com and I will send you a copy. All I ask is that you be cool about it and don't steal and try to make a profit from my free read
