Human Chess
There seems to be running conflicts on how to handle terrorism. We all agree that something has to drastically happen to halt being threatened. It's not like we can sit down with a twisted mind over coffee or tea and have a mindful conversation. It really doesn't matter what jacket of terrorism threatens us, we look to our leaders to react appropriately. Yes, the knee jerk response is to immediately attack back and that is exactly what they want but sitting on our hands waiting for them to play nice isn't the answer either.
Terrorists are like viruses like the ones that invade our bodies and bring us to our knees and the ones that infest our computers that take something simple and make it complicated. There seems to be no real cure for viruses just over the counter remedies that lesson the severity of the symptoms. Terrorists lack heart and soul they have in their mind that we need to see the world through their eyes. We can take out their leaders or recruiters but that won't stop new legions from forming and they know that.
I'm not going to call out their names, I refuse to give them proper air time in my blog but we all know the two major terrorists who want us and everybody else to bow to their ideology. The sad and scary part is we all believe that that mess is only over there and if we eliminate them all that the problem will go away but they have bad seeds planted everywhere. They are in countries we think are safe including our own.
I don't understand any of this. I mean I get that there are countries out there that don't care for the USA. We are a country not a teenager seeking popularity but is ironic when they are in need of a helping hand BAM! they reach out or run to the very country they despise, funny how that works.
I don't know where this hatred started all I do know is that it was nipped in the bud at the formation and now it has spiraled out of control.
The damaged, the lost, the forgotten the frustrated will flock to demented organizations because they have a mapped out plan and they are not afraid to execute their plans and those without a moral compass see that as stable and assertive something they didn't get before. There is bunch of psychology attached to the terrorist mind but we can't sit and chat with them or slip some Paxil in their water when they turn their head.
Until a solution that will satisfy everybody, not being a pessimist but I don't see that happening anytime soon, we have to rely on conventional methods like fighting fire with fire. We are all involved in this human chess game and one day someone will call out "checkmate" Let's pray that it's not them that calls that.
