Critical Mass
I can understand someone being so distraught and
uncomfortable with their life that they feel death will bring change and it
does, permanently and you get no re-do if it wasn’t like you thought it would
be. I can even push my mind into understanding trying to eliminate someone that
might be trying to hurt or kill you or a loved one; most people can. What is
hard to digest or somewhat understand is why it has become a thing now to take
out someone’s life that has nothing to do with you then do away with yourself
so the answer as to why is left to haunt those affected forever.
Is this the new
normal now? Places where we once felt safe, the venues where we go to hang out
and relax a little and even pray or get an education. No, seriously, we all are
paranoid and get all prickly over other country’s regimes trying to scare us and
take over but I think we really need to focus our attention right here in our
backyards.
I don’t give a crap
how demented somebody is or how bad life has kicked them in the crotch, NOBODY
has the right to take another life because they didn’t get what they thought
should be owed to them. If someone wants so badly to take their own life, if
they really buy into that killing themselves will solve the problem then ….. But
there will never be justification for taking someone else’s life or multiple
lives.
To the people who
have lost loved ones due to unbalanced minds and cold souls can getting an
answer as to why really give them peace? Perhaps the first time this wild
killing spree type took place, we all thought we had it under control but its
gotten worse and now it’s all the time. Stop waiting for the government to step
in, is that what we really want, our country to be on lock down?
It’s up to us. No,
I don’t think we should be held responsible for somebody else’s behavior but if
you know someone not so balanced or going through something they are struggling
with GET INVOLVED. Don’t wait until that person hits critical mass then pass
around via social apps all the crap that gets circulated pretending to be all
up on depression and mental illness. For healthcare practitioners if someone
needs help and they don’t meet up with the high standards/requirements to
receive help…. Find a way to get them help. Yeah, okay I get it we are not our
brother’s keeper but don’t you think things would be different if we got more
involved with each other? Put the freakin’ smartphone down, stop worrying or
checking on your damn status. If we want things to change for the good we have
to get involved somehow, someway.
