With No Regard


I sometimes go out of my way not to listen or watch the news, not because I don’t like being informed but my ears and eyes get barraged with stuff that pisses me off and saddens me. I know that there is some good news that gets wedged in but all the bad shit that goes on seems like more and robs the smiles and good that does get reported.

  Say what you will about all the extreme groups from other countries that want to bring us harm and their own people, they have a hair across their ass concerning us, they always have and they always will. We should be alarmed and protective about them but what concerns me more are the ones born and raised in this country who show no respect or regard for anyone else. Okay, I get it, it’s hard to sink a decent job to sustain a half way decent lifestyle unless of course you get yourself 150.000 or more in debt with student loans to get a proper education. Many of the grunt jobs out there starting at a whopping $7.92 or $8.00 an hour even a swift $10.00 an hour is just enough to pay a bill or two and work your way through the dollar menu.

  I can understand the frustration, been there, am there. What I am having trouble with are the scum, the low lives that spend their time, their energy in stealing from those who have established some decent work ethic, who bust their ass for their families and for this country. The sneaky deceivers who instead of using their computer skills to obtain a real job they parasite off of our key strokes and pat themselves on the back because they broke through security on some internet site to snatch and enjoy hard earned money leaving us  between a rock and hard place.

  I will never understand how someone can just feel they have the right to burn down property, bring physical or emotional harm to a complete stranger just for craps and giggles or to shake someone down of their savings for a pack of cigarettes or a hit of crack. If your drug or drink is that important to you get a fucking job and pull the funds from your own pocket. No freaking body has the right to lean on their color, race, religion or lean on as a scape goat about all the imbalances this country has. You want to be treated as an equal than act it.

 What really sends me in a tizzy is hearing how thoughtless individuals that have no respect can rob organization designed to help the needy, the homeless, and the hungry especially around the holidays. The tree nabbers, the gift grabbers and the silent unseen thieves online and at the atm’s  who find it more endearing to snatch your ID then to do something to worthy. Everyone seems to think that our biggest enemy is seated in the middle east, yes an eyebrow should be raised, but right here disguised as everyday people are our own extremists who will slice your throat and clean your bank account clean without batting an eye. Feel safe? You shouldn’t

Swallowing an Elephant

You know that joke/riddle How do you eat an elephant? A-One bite at a time. For most that seems to be the most logical. The elephant is quite large and nobody can just pop one in their mouth but oddly enough there are people out there that want you to over tax your system trying to get one down in one bite. Apparently, there are some lucky individuals out there who can unhinge their jaw and eat an elephant in one or two tries so that sets the bar for everyone else. Breathing

When someone asks me how I am I usually respond with okay which means nothing bad or good is going on. When things aren’t so okay I reply with “I’m barely breathing” which means I’m highly stressed out over something. When I listen to meditation videos they always start out with deep breathing, at first, I thought it was kind of silly to concentrate so much on breathing. I also started to notice my breathing when I was stressed out or intensely involved in something. I have two destructive breathing patterns that take place, I either over breath or shallow breathe; sometimes I even subconsciously hold my breath. None of the three poor breathing methods make a happy functioning body.
