Indepedent Walker

Sometimes being independent comes with a cost. For those who like their space and rally in their ability to try to figure their way around on their own, often get misunderstood. Instead of being revered as being strong and able to sustain themselves in any circumstance that life throws at them they are often looked at as being overly stubborn and void of emotions of feelings. Although they may be stubborn at times they are often more emotional and have deeper feelings than most people realize. Just because someone has personal space issues that doesn’t mean they don’t want to be treated nicely or thought of. Everybody strives whether they are single, or married, with children or without, in a secure job or still searching for their nitch: to establish a sense of this is who I am and they hope that family and friends respect that. Nobody likes to be told or made to feel guilty for liking what they like or believe in.

It’s easy to assess and judge someone else’s situation when you’re not actually going through their trials and tribulations. The Independent walker enjoys their space but they also like being included, they may not always accept but the most irritable or ornery person likes to be thought of; underneath the thorns and thistles, beneath the layers of aloofness is a person with a heart and soul.

The Independent trail blazer will often seek out a sounding board, someone to vent to but will push to find a way to make a resolve on their own not so much because advice or suggestions often thrown out to help are bad but because they will sort it all out and make it work for the road they’re on.
