If I were God I would.....
I was listening to an old broadcast of an Art Bell show aired 2002. I laughed not so much at the program and the question thrown on the table which I'll get into in a bit but that back then cell phones had just broke through the markets and the reception, well , the reception sucked for most carriers. I laughed because a caller had called in on a cell phone and the reception was muddled and the call was soon dropped which at the time was very common. Art Bell the host was so annoyed and like most that owned a cell phone back then wondered why technology couldn't produce a better version. 12 years later, you don't get many dropped calls or under water sound. Cell phones today compared to back then have come a long way. Kind of scary because our cell phones today are almost smarter than we are; we no longer ask people we hop right on Google and ask it any and everything....hmmmm.
Ok, now back to the topic or the question on the table. If you were God what would you change or do differently. That is an open ended question because there is so much that has gone terribly wrong since Eve snatched the fruit from the forbidden tree. I'm not God and I am not so sure I ever wanna be God. I can hardly handle the responsibilities I have now as a mere mortal. Right off the bat only because I have never really understood why and there is no answer any one cam give me that would make me comfortable with this one issue. Bugs, insects, creepy crawlies, with the exception of the Butterfly of course. Before all you tree huggers and ecologists jump all over this and tell e why we needs those bugs.....I don't care. I don't like them and I hate that I have to spend time and money and be on guard all the time to keep my place free from them. In my world there would be no bugs especially thousands of variety of each. I have a hard enough time dealing with the variety of people I shouldn't have to freak out every time a new version of cockroach or nasty ant or disease ridden mosquito pops up.
I have a whole list of changes for mankind but I would have to say that the bug issue is topping my list of do overs. I have read a thousand time what Heaven is like through the Bible and I have in my mind got a vision of what it might be like and neither version includes any kind of bug. I often wonder if all these creepy crawlies were always about before the forbidden fruit ordeal.
