Step Lightly

All about time and space

And giving the other room to breath

To step lightly and enjoy

But knowing in fashion what time to leave

It’s never about the obvious

Surface fears flare then fade

Not about crashing waves in puddles

More of deeper waters that we wade

Sometimes it’s about intervention

And coming up for air

To be pulled up and out of uncertainty

When the expected is out there somewhere

A passing flash of unseen light

That cuts into layers of revolving dark

Wrapping yourself inside a moment

In hope of leaving a light hearted mark
