Fragile Wisdom

I hold wisdom like it’s fragile

And hold tight what I should let go

I see and hear truth with all its heaviness

And I see the keys that can open doors and unbind me

But they are far from my reach

I traded secrets with a higher spirit

And sold the winning ace for a tarot card

I know what tomorrow brings

But I am still twisting in the wind

Not where I should be

Evolution has laid beside me

But I have ran standing still

I reached to grasp the key

My fingertips graced the metal

I am close
